1. Mẫu câu hỏi & đưa ra lời khuyên về quy tắc ứng xử (Cultural Etiquette)
Hỏi xin lời khuyên (Asking for Advice)
- • What should I do if I am invited to someone's home?
- • Is it customary to tip in restaurants here?
- • Could you tell me the dos and don'ts when visiting a temple?
- • Is it okay if I wear casual clothes?
Đưa ra lời khuyên (Giving Advice)
- • It is customary / polite to take off your shoes before entering.
- • You'd better bring a small gift such as fruits or flowers.
- • Make sure you don't point your finger directly at people.
- • Never touch someone's head, as it is considered sacred.
2. Đối thoại mẫu thực hành (Model Dialogue)
Alex: Hi An, I'm visiting a Vietnamese family this weekend. Could you tell me what I should keep in mind?
Alex: Chào An, cuối tuần này mình đến thăm một gia đình Việt Nam. Cậu có thể nhắc mình cần lưu ý những gì không?
An: Sure, Alex! First, you should take off your shoes at the door. When eating, it's polite to invite the elders before starting your meal, and use both hands when handing something to older people.
An: Chắc chắn rồi Alex! Trước tiên cậu nên cởi giày ở cửa. Khi ăn cơm, mời người lớn tuổi trước khi ăn là phép lịch sự, và hãy dùng cả hai tay khi đưa đồ vật cho người lớn.
Alex: That's very helpful! Thank you so much for the valuable advice.
Alex: Lời khuyên hữu ích quá! Cảm ơn cậu rất nhiều.
